Positive Mind. Positive Life. As a child, my grandfather would make us read self-help books and bible scriptures. I still remember my first at-home pop quiz on the "Power of Words". I was partially scorned and partially empowered. At the time, I was too young to understand the importance of the lesson but I presently find myself teaching it to my daughter. Words are singularly the most powerful tool we can use to help, heal, hinder, hurt, harm, humiliate or even to humble. Most importantly, words have the power to inspire the most important person in the world; you. According to the laws of attraction, focusing on positive thoughts will bring positive energy into your life. Thoughts are sometimes hard to control but you can start with speaking positive words to help foster a positive mind. I've gathered some of the basic affirmations that help me get through the struggles of everyday life.
